Introduction

Hans Bouman has been active as a journalist and copywriter since 1984. He has worked for a broad range of Dutch daily newspapers and weekly or monthly magazines, as well as various broadcasting companies, advertising agencies and commercial enterpristes.

Bouman considers himself to be a ‘universalist’, with two specialisations: culture and travel. From the autumn of 2000 to the spring of 2007 he was a member of the editorial board of REIZEN Magazine, the Netherlands’ largest travel publication.
